Winter Youth Clinic - Skills Improvement
January 9, 16, and 25, 2010 at Moorpark College Field.
FIELD HOCKEY CAMP - Had a good turn-out and was a great camp for a large group of players!

Dates: August 22nd and 23rd 2009. Location: Moorpark Field Hockey Sports Center. Instructors were three former or current members of U.S.A Mens National Team. A group of dedicated coaches provided great instruction. See News tab, or CLICK HERE for further details.
USA Mens National Championship
Recently, the U-21 and Senior National team rosters were announced at the US Mens National Championship, held at Chula Vista Olympic Training Facility/San Diego. Many FHF mens players participated in the tournament at the Jr.a dn Sr. level. Also, many were selected for both the teams representting the USA in international competiions for 2009-2010. Scorekeeping & Record Keeping - Maintain Small "League Page"
There needs to be a new volunteer to handle score and record keeping - statistics/compile results. Shawn Nakamura currently holds this position and has the password to access website hosting easy-to-use Database software.
The FHF is looking for a new treasurer

Volunteers Needed for Field Painting - posted Jnauary 18, 2009
Dave Jackson has ordered the paint for the field. When it arrives we will need to find some volunteers to paint the circles and the lines. The field must be kept dry for 48 hours before and after the painting.
Umpires Meeting: on Saturday 2/21/09 for 10am to 12pm.
Bldg. TR-10 has been reserved, Moopark College.

USA Mens National team - faced world class competition, returns from Auckland, NZ.
Very exciting games - see Events/Results with its"FIH WorldHockey links" for extensive coverage and photos, and commentaries of each game in this Olympic Qualifier Tournament. With 13 members of the team consisting of SoCal men, FHF is well represented on the team. Each game is intense with great hockey action.
What: Middle School Tournament !! -- 1 February, 2008
From 8a.m - 5p.m. It will be held at the Field Hockey Center at Moorpark College. Snack Bar will be open for the entire day of the event.
Umpires for the day of the tournament, please call Coralie Van Marken. Her number is (Home) 805-653-1829 (Cell) 805-256-5070. Pay is $7.50 for a half hour game.
What: Free Play Day - All Ages, including grade, middle and high school levels.
When: 2 February, 2008. (At Moorpark College Field) Details: forthcoming. Watch news for more details. This is also a sport for, and there are teams for, younger U-9 children.
What: Boxing Day Hockey - Fun day to learn and experience field hockey
