Spring League 2009 --Spring Season Wrapping up shortly

Junior and Adult Spring League started February 14th and ends May 2nd, 2009. Youth Divisions: U-9; U-14 and U-16. Adult Divisions, I, II and III. See you at the matches !!

PLAYERS:  Today is Tuesday the 3rd of March, 2009, Please make all efforts prior to showing up to play this weekend without your photo Id.  YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE WITHOUT IT!

COACHES:  Please take the time this week to insure all your players have them, Please inform Coralie and or Tracy if you still need pictures taken. This is not something that will be dealt with on Saturday, This needs to be done prior to Saturday game time.  (Tracy Eggleston)

Saturday - 10 Jan, 2009! Youth Field Hockey Spring Sign-Ups

The Field Hockey Federation will have Spring League sign-ups on Saturday January 10th at the Field from 10 AM  to 3:30 PM.  Fees are $125 per player. Spring League is scheduled to start February 14th and end by May 2nd, 2009. Divisions: U-9; U-14 and U-16. Games are played on Saturdays.

USAFH course to be offered at Moorpark College specifically for the FHF. See NEWS for details, and description of course curriculum.  Register soon!

Saturday - 10 Jan, 2009! We will be having our first Registration for the Spring Season at the field.

Summer Free Play Days - Wednesdays, 5 PM until Dark. Moorpark Field, Moopark College. Small fee ($10 for insurance.)

Attached please find entry material for the 2008 USA Club Cup.

The USA Club Championship is an “Inclusive” event with the hope of having representation from adult men and women Club Teams from around the country. To achieve this objective, each identified League, Association and Federation, will be invited to send at least one entry to the Championship.

Clubs that do not belong to a League, Association or Federation are also encouraged to enter. Entry Fee: $500.00 per team

Applications will are available online at www.usafieldhockey.com . Entry Deadline is March 1, 2008

Leagues, Teams and Clubs interested in qualifying, need to indicate their intent to participate by January 31 by emailing Karen Collins at kcollins@usafieldhockey.com.

All participants must be members of the USA Field Hockey.

No All-Star, Select, State or Regional team will be allowed to participate. Space is very limited

Junior Hockey Coaching Clinic

Those who successfully complete the Clinic will receive:

Magnetic Coaching Board - with player pieces and dry erase pen.

The cost of the clinic is $35, which covers cost of materials. All video presentations, with afterwards practice on the field.

2008 Membership cards are required for all players who wish to participate in Field Hockey Federation activities
The fees for adults are $40 per player. The junior fees are included in the player registration fees.
