     Title: Moorpark Field Hockey Club 2010 Spring Season!  Age divisions U-9, U-12, U-14, and U-16. Registration Dates January 9, 16 and 23, 2010.

Age divisions U-9, U-12, U-14, and U-16.  Registration Dates:   January 9th, 16th, and 23rd, 2010.    10 AM to 1 PM (Moorpark College Field)

Now you have registered, what does this mean?

•    This is a special price and the players Will get free additional coaching - by early start on January 9th. . This includes everything- jersey, socks, insurance, league fee, mouth guard, shin guard, stick and a ball.  You will have to provide yourself plain black shorts or kilts. This will be available on 9th of January 2010.

When do the practices start?  :
•    All new registrants practices will start on Jan 9th and 16th from 11 Am -12:30 PM at the Moorpark College hockey pitch. You will get your equipment at this time. You will have one organized practice per week on Thursdays and the field is available on Wednesdays for open play and scrimmage.

When does the league begin and end?
•    The league play begins on February 6th and ends  on May 15th with a week off during the Spring break

As a parent, how could I help my child?
•    You should consider learning to play hockey. . There is a parent’s league (moms and dads combined, coed) on Saturdays at noon. This is a good opportunity to get some gentle exercise. Moorpark Field Hockey is an all voluntary organization and you will enjoy volunteering your time to do simple things amongst a small community of hockey families.

I am very much interested to join, could I pay by installments?
•    Yes, you may pay by installments.

How would I know what size the hockey stick should be?
•    A good rule of thumb is, the stick should come up to the hip bone. The coach will help you to select the correct length of the stick.

What kind of shoes should I use?
•    Any running shoe will be adequate. No cleats of any kind on the synthetic turf is allowed

If I have to withdraw from the program will I get my money back?
•    Yes, your money will be cheerfully refunded when all the equipment is returned unused.
