Field Hockey Federation (FHF) is a Southern California organization that has sponsored and organized field hockey clubs and leagues, public and private school field hockey programs, and adult programs to pursue the sport of field hockey. It has long supported USFieldHockey, the USA national organization, with a steady supply of men and women field hockey players for the US Jr. and Senior National Teams. This organization also supports and provides fields and facilities for the California Cup Tournament, one of the largest in the USA which draws international, ranked club teams. It cooperates with other US field hockey organizations to further the sport of field hockey in the USA.

Guru Nanak Field Hockey Tournament July 3rd - 5th 2010

Los Angeles Tigers Sports Club

The Guru Nanak Hockey Tournament commemorates it's 32nd annual competition on July 3-5, 2010, at the Moorpark College, Field Hockey Federation field.

This is an exiciting event with sponsored by the Los Angeles Tigers Sports Club. Application forms and additional details are at: http://www.latigershockey.com/GHTver2.htm. Also here are further details on The Guru Nanak Hockey Tournament.

Divisions in Tournament: Under 10 (mixed minor hockey), Under 14 (mixed minor hockey), Under 16 (junior hockey), Women (need minimum 4 teams), Social, Veterans Team Entry, and Under 19 (Boys hockey).

XXXIX Calcup Tournament 2010 - Moorpark, CA

The Tournament was held on May 28-31, 2010, and was a fun-filled and very interesting event. Please see Calcup Tournament link for scores, results and other information: Calcup.net

The Tournament was held on the campus of Moorpark College near the City of Los Angeles in Southern California. This tournmanet inculded club teams from U-9 all the way to Superdivision Men and Women.

2010 Spring Season Hockey Conclusion - Final Matches were held on 15 and 16 May 2010

The final matches were competed for the different age groups for the Spring League Champs. Pizza party was held after last match. See Calender Schedule for the match times. Go to ''Schedule/Calenders Tab'' for detail on when teams played and from what age groups.

Winter Youth Clinic - Skills Improvement

January 9, 16, and 25, 2010 at Moorpark College Field.

For times and details see Youth Hockey Program, under Events/Results page. Coed Ages 7-12 Beginner & Novice classes at Moorpark College Field. Field Hockey improves hand-eye, teamwork and physical fitness and will help your child gain self- confidence through athletic success. Learn an Olympic sport from some of the best players in the country.

Coaching Development, New for 2010 - Sean Nakamura will lead a committee dedicated to improving coaching skills of different coaching levels, to improve understanding of the competitive play as well as rules to be followed by players. This will result in greatly improved quality of play and skill levels for the players in the FHF. Further information will be forthcoming.

Important Notice - Security after dark

For Players and Families at Moorpark College Field in the evenings, there is security light (blue light) which when pressed immediately signals Campus Security/Emergency staff. This is for use in Medical or Security emergencies.

2010 USA Mens National Championship

The US Mens National Championship for U-16, U-21 and Senior National teams will be held this year at the Moorpark College Field. After the championship matches, the 2010-2011 player rosters will be announced. Many FHF mens players have participated in the tournament at the Jr. and Sr. level. Also, many have been selected for the national teams representting the USA in international competiions for 2009-2010. Final match scores and results, and players selected for the teams will be posted on the USA Field Hockey site : Matches, Results, and National Team.

US Men’s Junior National Championships

Chula Vista OTC - July 6-11, 2010

the USA Junior National Team (U19) will be selected at this event. Athletes from the USA Field Hockey’s Men’s Junior High Performance Training Centers as well as others who register to participate are invited to represent their Region at the National Championship’s. Selections are performance based to ensure that the strongest representative Team participates at the Junior National Championship competition. See Events Tabs on Home Page.
